Both run overnight via the Southern Expressway. CTB/SLTB departs Colombo and goes straight into Arugam Bay; Al Rashith departs Borella and stops at Pottuvil — a short tuk-tuk into Arugam Bay from there. Al Rashith is hotline-only — no online ticketing.
